Satwa – Dubai, UAE
Satwa is unlike anywhere else in Dubai. One of the city’s oldest and more modest neighborhoods, stepping into Satwa feels like entering an entirely different world—one that never sleeps, full of energy, stories, and relentless hustle. It’s a place shaped by the hardworking immigrant communities that keep the city running, where every corner holds a new human connection waiting to be made.
I’ve always been drawn to Satwa’s raw, unfiltered realness. Unlike the polished skyscrapers Dubai is known for, this neighborhood thrives on grit, determination, and a 24/7 work ethic. These photos are the result of my time wandering its streets—random encounters, fleeting moments, and friendships formed along the way, capturing the essence of a place that feels alive in a way no other part of the city does.
